The Mount Magazine Labor Day Weekend

A full weekend of Flying Activities at Mount Magazine in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. Bring your family, food and friends, and oops!.... I almost forgot.... bring your Hang Glider!
For those planning to make it a three day happening, we can assure you that you will have a great shot at a bunch of flying from our tallest mountain in Arkansas, Mt. Magazine as well as it’s versatile sister mountain of Mt. Nebo.
So what is required for you to be able to participate in the Mt. Magazine Fly-in? Bring your Hang 3 Card, check in with the State Park each day you plan to fly.
For Spectators: Join the Central Arkansas Mountain Pilots (C.A.M.P.) at Mt. Magazine State Park to watch and learn as they hang glide throughout the weekend. Due to the sport's high dependence on weather and wind, no times will be announced for the flying however, weather and wind permitting, the pilots fly throughout Saturday, Sunday and Monday, beginning in the afternoon.

Camping and Lodging available on top of the mountain at the State Park.
